The new Libby and Robert Alexander Community Sailing Center is coming in 2025! It’s amazing to see how much progress has been made since the project began in 2023. We anticipate the construction being completed in late 2024, and we plan to open the new building to the community in the Spring of 2025!
This new facility will provide our community with the following:
– Technology-equipped classrooms for year-round learning
– Accessible features to meet the needs of our sailors with intellectual, developmental, and/or physical disabilities
– Community gathering space to connect the people that we serve
– Storage and a workshop to safely house and maintain our boats and other equipment
– Staff offices and flex space to allow us to serve more members of our community
Our new headquarters building was made possible thanks to the continued, generous support of Libby and Robert Alexander, who provided vital funding for the new headquarters as well as helped launch the sailing center, which is named in their honor.
