At Community Sailing New Orleans, our fleet of ZIM 420 sailboats is the training ground for the next generation—from beginners learning to tack for the first time to athletes racing for their schools. These boats are the backbone of our core programs like Crew to Captain and Summer Camp as well as training vessels for Tulane University and Ursuline Academy sailing teams.
Now, you can emblazon your name on one of our boats and show your support of local sailors. We have a variety of naming options so you can choose a giving level that fits your budget:
- $2,500 – Name a boat for 2 years
- $5,000 – Name a boat for 3 years
- $7,500 – Name a boat for 4 years
- $10,000 – Name a boat for 5 years
In honor of our partnerships with Tulane University and Ursuline Academy Sailing Teams, Tulane & Ursuline sailing families/alumni enjoy 10% off your boat name!
Your boat’s name will be displayed proudly on a sailboat that will sail in front of over 100 youth, students, and community sailors each year. You’ll also receive regular updates and invitations to special events to see your boat in action.

We love creative and meaningful names! All names must reflect our values and mission and are subject to approval.
How long will the name remain on the boat?
Depending on your giving level, your naming rights will last up to five years, with the option to renew your sponsorship at the end of your term.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes! Community Sailing New Orleans is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your gift is fully tax-deductible.
