Colgate 26s: These are versatile keelboats that combine stability, performance, and ease of handling in one smart design. Built with safety and simplicity in mind, it’s ideal for beginners while still delivering a fun, responsive ride for experienced sailors. With their deep keel, roomy cockpit, and incredible stability, these boats give a secure, comfortable experience on the water. They’re the perfect platform for learning the basics and gaining confidence.
Freedom Independence 20s: The Independence 20 is a stable, accessible keelboat designed to be a stable learning platform to give inclusive sailing opportunities for those of all abilities. These boats have built-in equipment which make them accessible for people with disabilities. The roomy cockpit, sturdy and stable feel, and adaptable features allow for a comfortable, inclusive experience on the water.
Z420s: The Z420 is a light, fast, and responsive two-person dinghy used for competitive sailing. With a stable hull and simplified rigging, it provides an ideal platform for sailors building confidence while developing more technical abilities. At CSNO, Z420s are used in our Crew to Captain program and Small Boat Summer Camp, as well as by the Tulane University and Ursuline Academy sailing teams. They are available for charter for local regattas and practices.
Club 420s: The Club 420 is a versatile, performance-oriented dinghy that introduces sailors to advanced skills like sail trim, boat handling, and teamwork. Sailed with a two-person crew, it’s widely used in competitive sailing and is the nationally recognized collegiate training vessel. RHIBs: Our rigid inflatable boats (RHIBs) serve as dedicated safety vessels. They are fast, reliable safety boats that accompany every program on the water. Designed for quick response and maneuverability, they allow our team to provide immediate assistance and ensure the safety of all participants at all times.
