The Libby and Robert Alexander Community Sailing Center
The Libby and Robert Alexander Community Sailing Center is over a half-acre located at the newly built municipal harbor.
There is a 12,368 square foot bulkhead built to create space for our mobile offices, work areas, and store our fleet of small boats. Onsite, there is a floating dock and hoist to launch and retrieve boats. We also have eight slips where our keelboat fleet is docked. All the fingers piers have been designed to be accessible and have transfer equipment.
In the Works
Community Sailing New Orleans plans to build a permanent structure in the future which will be home to offices, multipurpose classrooms and workshops.
